The Best Plaid Cape for Under $40

As the weather begins to transition to those cooler temperatures, sometimes it’s difficult to know what to wear for a night on the town. A couple weekends ago, hubby and I escaped north to Flagstaff, Arizona. The nighttime lows had me a little perplexed on what to pack for our big night out. I had recently come across this plaid cape and fell in love. Plus, at less than $40, you will feel like your #winning every time you wear it! What’s great about a plaid cape, as opposed to a scarf, is that it can essentially be a blanket. As the night got cooler, I found myself wrapping up in it to completely keep out the cold. It’s so cozy and warm! 😊

I wore this cape over my favorite bodycon dress of the season! This dress comes in a long sleeve and tank version. I know you’ve heard me say it again and again, but this is THEE dress. It’s so comfortable, lightweight, and flattering! 💁🏼

To dress this look up, I wore a pair of heeled over the knee boots. I love this pointed, thin heel because it helps this look feel a little more dressy and sassy for a night out! I also linked up a few other over the knee boots I’m currently loving. My favorite neutral crossbody bag and a simple choker necklace finished this look off nicely! I felt perfectly warm the whole night! 💕
