A couple weeks ago, my girl Jessica Hall and I enjoyed a little staycation at the Graduate Hotel in Tempe, Arizona. Situated right in the heart of the Arizona State University campus, this trendy boutique hotel is a great place to travel and stay at if you’re flying in to check out the school. It’s walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars, as well as the beautiful campus. It’s super hip and fun! Definitely a great hotel for the younger crowd!
Seriously love the fun, vintage feel of the rooms! It’s all-American flair and 70s vibes is refreshing and fun. I seriously was crushing on this American flag blanket and vintage telephone. Such a unique space!
Also, just want to highlight that Jessica and I slept like babies all night. I literally slept in later that next morning than I can remember in a long time! It could have been that one too many glasses of wine at the Normal Bar (see below) – but I’m thinking it was the comfy beds! 😉
The Graduate Hotel has two fabulous dining options on sight! Jessica and I enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner at their fabulous amenities and we thought the service was top-notch. Everyone was super accommodating and friendly! Truly felt like we were eating at someone’s house. It was very warm and welcoming.
The Normal Restaurant – This was the main dining option at the hotel. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner – it even had a coffee bar and lounge area attached. This restaurant is all about the comfort food BUT with a twist. I had an order of mac and cheese with pork that was out of this world!
The Normal Bar – Open in the evenings, this is a fabulous hangout area equipped with the most delicious tacos and margaritas! They have a fabulous outdoor area with fire pits and music. It was the perfect hang out spot! They also have some amazing happy hour food and drink prices! Was super impressed!
While it may have been a tad too cold to take a dip (at least for this thin blood), the Graduate Hotel pool is heated and super adorable! I love the bright colors and close proximity to the bar. When the temps get warmer, this would be a fun little hang out spot to beat the heat!
Overall, Jessica and I had a fabulous time! We loved how easy it was to stay at this hotel. We never had to go off sight for anything that we needed. From coffee runs to food, entertainment and comfort, the Graduate Hotel provided us a great, relaxing experience!
If you are looking to travel to the Tempe area or are interested in checking out ASU, be sure to book your stay at the Graduate Hotel. You’ll have a trendy and yummy stay!
Thank you to the Graduate Hotel for hosting our stay!
